Privacy policy

Introduction

TB Digitals is an independent web design studio based in Québec. This page explains what information this site collects and what happens to it. It is deliberately short, because the site collects little — essentially what you type into the contact form yourself.

What is collected

TB Digitals uses no analytics, behavioural advertising or profiling tools on this site. Specifically, there are:

• no cookies set by the site;
• no analytics or audience-measurement tools;
• no advertising scripts or tracking pixels;
• no browser storage of any kind.

Some technical data is nevertheless processed automatically by the host, as on any website: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, and some information about your browser or device. This is used to run, serve and secure the site. That data is not passed on to me and I do not use it.

Fonts are hosted alongside the site, so no request is sent to an outside service when you load a page.

Contact form

The form on the home page collects the information you enter into it:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your company name, if you provide one;
• the type of project;
• an approximate budget, if you provide one;
• the content of your message.

This information is used solely to understand your enquiry, to reply to you and to discuss the project. It is never sold, shared, or used to send newsletters or promotional messages.

Budget and company name are optional: the form sends without them.

How submissions are handled

The form is processed by Netlify's form service — Netlify also hosts the site. Netlify therefore receives and stores the content of your submission so that it can be passed on to me and so that I can read it. No other third-party service is involved.

You can also write to me directly at thomasbissonnette14@gmail.com instead of using the form. In that case the message is sent from your own email account.

Hosting

The site is hosted and served by Netlify, a web infrastructure provider. Netlify processes the technical data described above and keeps it in its logs, across a network of servers located in several countries. That processing is governed by the provider's own privacy commitments.

Retention

Enquiries received and emails exchanged are kept only for as long as needed to handle the request and to meet the administrative obligations that follow from it. They are deleted after that.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and so are form submissions. Emails travel through the respective mail providers, with whatever protections they apply. No passwords, banking details or sensitive documents should be sent through this form.

Your rights

You may ask at any time to access, correct or delete the information I hold about you. Write to thomasbissonnette14@gmail.com and I will respond within a reasonable time.

In Québec, the handling of personal information is governed by the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.

Changes

This policy may be updated if the site changes — for instance if an analytics tool is added one day. The revision date at the top of the page reflects the current version.
